A Poem For Drew

There are decorative pebbles, like the ones placed in your garden.
They’re a beautiful accent, but require a worthy landscape to be appreciated,
And lack many of the merits required to stand out on their own.

There are magnificent boulders.
Raw giants that you might see,
While hiking in the mountains or riding through the desert.
They’re like incredible pieces of art to be admired,
But they’re impossible to carry back home.

Then, there’s the stones which been conceived since time began.
They’ve been nurtured in the Earth…
And tremendous forces have shaped, colored, and strengthened them.
Their amazing character yet subtle elegance
Can compliment any occasion.

Only when they’ve been excavated, cut and polished
Can you see their astonishing glory.

“I was a single mother of two about to lose her home and desperately trying to raise the money to save it. I went so far as to list for sale all my family’s heirlooms, including two diamond rings meant for my sons’ future wives. There was nothing to think about! I sold Drew my rings and was able to raise the money I needed. I found out later that one of the diamond rings Drew bought from me was an unpopular cut and style at the time and one which would be very difficult for him to resell in today’s market. Still, he bought it and gave me its true and fair worth. I have since referred several people to Safari Diamond who have had equally surprising and pleasant experiences. I will never buy jewelry or diamonds from anyone else.”
