We believe it is our responsibility to give back to the communities and towns in which we live and work.  Therefore, a significant portion of all Safari Diamond’s profits are donated directly back to charitable organizations, and the people and causes having the most need within the nations we operate.  Andrew “Diamond Drew” Lovett, Safari Diamond’s Founder and CEO, also regularly donates his personal time to charitable causes and educational events in the nations in which he lives - The United States and Sierra Leone, West Africa.

West Africa

We work closely with the West African governments and other diamond mine and business operators to continually improve working conditions, environmental practices and standards of living within these nations.

The World Health Organization (WHO) consistently ranks the nation of Sierra Leone, West Africa as having one of the poorest overall living conditions in the world. It is within this country in which we focus our efforts. We get closely involved to make sure our donations go 100% to its intended source, instead of into corrupt hands. We never make “blind” donations to the government 0r other institutions.

Instead, we donate much needed food, shelter, medical supplies, and other forms of aid directly to the families and charitable organizations within this nation and the individual villages and towns in which we work. We have also helped to build and fund the running of much needed medical centers in the Kono District of Sierra Leone, as well as contribute to various women’s rights groups. As a well-respected business organization and employer in Sierra Leone, we are regularly called upon by top governmental officials and other charitable organizations for our advice and help. The United States

We also contribute to important causes within the United States, particularly in the states of California and Florida in which we have our manufacturing and retail offices. We have been approached by dozens of local and nationwide charitable organizations over the years, and have contributed to many causes, most often in the form of diamond and jewelry donations for fundraiser events, auctions, and giveaways. Each of your benefactor guests pays at the door (price set at your discretion) for a champagne glass with a sparkling gem placed inside of it. Each “gem” is a high quality 1 carat cubic zirconium (retail value: $25 – $35), which is a complementary gift for each guest to keep. However, in one or two glasses*, in place of the cubic zirconium is a 1 carat round brilliant cut Safari Diamond! (Retail value varies with the market, but typically starts at $5,000 and up.)
